Shallotte PD asks for help identifying man suspected of hitting several mailboxes with car

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - The Shallotte Police Department (SPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit and run that resulted in damage to personal property in June.

According to the SPD, the person in the grey shirt allegedly damaged several mailboxes while driving a black Ford Mustang on June 29.

“The mustang should have heavy front-end damage and leaking fluids,” SPD wrote in a Facebook post.

SPD asks those with information to call the department at 910-754-6008 and ask to speak to Lt. McLamb. A tip can also be submitted through the Police Department App or by direct messaging the department’s Facebook page.
